Brisbane Hotels and Brisbane Accommodation
(Brisbane, Queensland - QLD, Australia AU)
Brisbane is home to a tremendous range of different hotels for all budgets, spreading out from the centre of Brisbane and the Central Business District (CBD) to many of Brisbane's interesting suburban areas. Cheap Brisbane lodging is easy to find, together with mid-range budget accommodation, Brisbane hostels and Brisbane guest houses. Many of Brisbane's luxury hotels are situated in the heart of Brisbane city centre and often offer superb views of the city, Brisbane's stunning coastline and the Brisbane River.
Brisbane hostels - a selection of hostels in Brisbane, Australia
Many of Brisbane's hotels are particularly concentrated around central Brisbane, Spring Hill - to the north of Brisbane city centre, Petrie Terrace - on the western side of Brisbane city, Fortitude Valley and New Farm - to the north-east of Brisbane, and the West End District in southern Brisbane. If you intend to visit many of Brisbane's top tourist attractions and landmarks, hotels in Brisbane city centre are plentiful, boasting many world-class hotels and some of Brisbane's newest hotels. Nearby, the more residential suburbs tend to be preferred by families and this area of Brisbane is within easy reach of Brisbane city centre and close to the Brisbane River.
Hotels in central Brisbane tend to drop their hotel rates at the weekends, as business travellers form a large part of their business between Monday to Friday. Brisbane's busiest tourist season is during the summer months, between December to February, and many of Brisbane's hotels do increase their rates during this time of the year. Cheaper hotel rates are often available out of season, during the winter months of June to September, and hostels are plentiful close to Brisbane city centre. Prices are usually quoted per room, rather than per person, and many Brisbane hotels offer special rates and discounts when booked online using the Internet.
Other accommodation is available on the outskirts of Brisbane, in scenic areas such as the South Bank, Paddington and Milton, and also in nearby areas, such as Moreton Bay, Manly, North Stradbroke Island, St. Helena Island, Coochiemudlo Island and Queensland's legendary Gold Coast, where you will find many stylish, boutique-style hotels and guest houses. These are often more reasonably priced during the week and booking in advance is advisable for all hotels in the Brisbane and Queensland area.
